We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer for the Badingham Community Council (BCC)
  • Does your previous or current life experience include a background in finance or accounts?
  • Are you able to use spreadsheets and read sets of accounts?
  • Perhaps you have a good understanding of the purpose of accounting, and its role in governance?

We are a very small charity with the purpose of raising funds to support events and activities for the benefit of people living in Badingham.

You will receive lots of support to take on this role. We would love to hear from you if this is a volunteering opportunity you would consider being involved with.

What is the Badingham Community Council?

What do we do?

  • Fund the Badingham Echo
  • Provide grants to support local groups
  • Purchased and maintain the village defibrillator
  • Host and subsidise events such as weekly table tennis, monthly Bingo and Quiz Night, and the annual Village Fete, Festive Wreath Making Workshop and Festive Lunch

How do we raise money?

  • Badingham Community Council (BCC) membership
  • Little Ernie 50:50 prize draw
  • The annual Village Fete
  • Advertisements in the Badingham Echo

  • Enterprise Badingham
  • Badingham Village Hall and Herb Garden
  • Badingham Bowls Club

How can you help?

  • Become a member of the BCC: for an annual payment of £5 per person you will be making a valuable contribution to village activities and events we support.
  • Join Little Ernie for an annual payment of £5 and have 6 chances of winning one of the cash prizes drawn during the summer months
  • Consider becoming a volunteer at BCC events
  • Even better – become a BCC Trustee and join a small but enthusiastic committee working to raise funds and provide fun events and activities for the village
