Hi all
Many apologies to anyone who turned up at the cafe on Sunday afternoon in anticipation of a cream tea. We had to cancel at short notice due to illness.
We all wish Karen a speedy recovery and look forward very much to her cream teas on Sunday 2nd August.
The cafe hopes that the Thursday bike rides will take place every other Thursday, but there will be no bike ride tomorrow.
If you are interested in joining a leisurely bike ride around local lanes for an hour - an hour and a half on a Thursday morning and returning to the cafe for refreshment, please let us know so that we can add you to the WhatsApp group.
Info will be sent out via this group about dates, times, routes etc.
Lastly - we now have a card reader in the cafe so you can pay by card or cash!
All the best
The Café Team
The café is the perfect place to relax and enjoy delicious food and coffee with friends and family, with seating inside and out. We offer a variety of beverages, home baked cakes and savouries.
We always love to see the cafe buzzing so please drop in on a Wednesday or Thursday morning. We are now offering 'small bites' for those who want a mouthful to eat with their tea or coffee but who haven't quite got room for a whole piece of cake
Hope to see you soon.
Look out for our very popular themed dining evenings, held at the Village Hall. Previous events have included French Night and Italian Night.
There is a very sociable walking group that meets on Wednesdays at 10am, walking out from the café on a variety of paths around the village and returning an hour later for a well deserved mug of tea and slice of homemade cake. A warm welcome awaits new walkers, and dogs are also welcome to join the walk!
From Garden to Kitchen
Four attractive booklets celebrating locally grown produce, containing tasty seasonal recipes from Badingham residents. They have been produced by Enterprise Badingham with the help of East Suffolk's Field to Fork scheme and proceeds will support the herb garden behind the Village Hall.
They are available at the café for £3.00 each, or all 4 for £10.
