St John the Baptist Church in Badingham is Suffolk’s most at-risk church, its rare hammerbeam roof currently being held up by scaffolding. Thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the roof will be restored alongside the development of a community activities plan that will shape the future of the role of the church for the community of Badingham and for the people of Suffolk and beyond.
You are invited to have your say about how you’d like the church to be used for activities in the future and share your views on local history and heritage. We would like as many residents, visitors, churchgoers or non-churchgoers as possible to fill in this SURVEY.
We need to raise £22,000 by March 2026 as our contribution to the award. Details of how you can contribute are on the St John the Baptist page.
